When you call, describe where the water appears to be coming from, whether the source is stopped, whether standing water remains, which rooms or materials are affected, and whether there are electrical, ceiling, sewage, or other safety concerns.
Before you enter a wet area
Do not enter standing water around electrical equipment or outlets, do not stand beneath sagging wet ceilings, and limit contact with sewage or outdoor floodwater. For immediate life-safety emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency service.
